About
In the world of marketing, if you don’t ask someone to do something, they probably won’t. So, with the power of the internet, I’m setting out to grow my community. Cities in general struggle with marketing themselves for growth. I’m not saying I have the answers, but I have a pretty good clue of where to start.
Can one person actually grow a town? No, not really. But many of us have returned to Aberdeen, a great hometown, and pursued dreams of a casual lifestyle, being with family, and owning a nice home for our families. Aberdeen has so much potential. Entrepreneurs flourish here because the cost of living does not strangle you. I never set out to have my own business, but it just happened, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I’ve wanted to create a website like this for years. One that just tells stories and shows pictures about how great a place this is. No one but me is funding it, and I’m doing it for the sheer pleasure of welcoming back those who moved away. And it is sort of an experiment in the whole world of internet marketing. And just to keep reminding you of how great it is here, sign up for my free postcard subscription at the right.
This website is a spin off of a popular Facebook group where people who live in Aberdeen are telling their story of moving here. If you want genuine reasons about why people live here, or where they came from, check this out.
I Moved To Aberdeen, SD on Facebook.
Oh, I have several clients associated with my marketing company whom I will provide links to. They are all very interested in community development and have developed businesses that would be very attractive to those looking to move to Aberdeen. These are sincere endorsements, not paid ones.
Thanks for stopping by. Send me your thoughts about moving here. We’re happy to help.
Welcome home!
